| My phone bounced 12 feet from a windowsill( where it was on vibrate) and slid across a ceramic tile floor unscathed. There have been complaints about the holster but in the vertical position I have had no problems. After two years of use I felt confident with it on the holster having to run from A 25 to D 13 at Atlanta in 6 minutes. My only worry was missing the plane...not the phone popping out. I just wish that Speck had continued the same design for the toughskin for the 3gs. It is not nearly as stable and gouges your face while trying to talk if left in the holster. I am trying to purchase another original for my 3gs, knowing that I will have to adapt it for the sensor area. While the phone remained perfectly fine in the episode above, the impact against the ceramic tile cracked one of the feet on the holster. For this reason I would prefer to purchase a completely new TOugh Skin. | |||||
